This special purpose fly box is meant to hold saltwater flies and large streamers. These boxes are relatively slim and compact, and they have large slotted foam inserts to hold saltwater flies and streamers. The Large size is a great boat/backpack size, and the Medium can fit into many sling/hip packs, but also is a great size to keep on the boat. With the waterproof gaskets, they won't get wet, and the strong plastic and latches can take the abuse of being bounced around.
